Who We Are

An environmental nonprofit, turning cleanup into opportunity and community impact.

Cleaner Spaces. Brighter Futures.

Eco Clean Guardians is a bootstrapped, woman-owned environmental 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in New Jersey, built from lived experience and local insight. Our founder recognized growing environmental neglect and public frustration in some of the most trafficked—and most beloved—community spaces. Rather than waiting for solutions, she helped create one.

Across many communities, litter and environmental degradation are persistent, visible, and often under-resourced. Eco Clean Guardians exists to meet that challenge with a model that values both environmental outcomes and the people doing the work.

We restore roadsides, waterways, and shared public spaces through paid, community-powered cleanup initiatives that deliver visible impact while creating accessible income opportunities. By compensating eco-earners for their time and effort, we help strengthen neighborhoods, improve public health, and build pride in the places people live, work, and gather.

Our work blends hands-on cleanup operations, workforce access, and environmental accountability, ensuring cleaner, safer, and more beautiful spaces for today—and for future generations.

Our Mission

Eco Clean Guardians Inc. mobilizes residents to restore streets and waterways through paid litter cleanup events that turn trash removal into real jobs, community pride, and visible environmental change.

Our Commitment To Transparency

We're committed to accountability and clear stewardship of every dollar. Your support helps us pay stipends, purchase supplies, and expand our cleanup reach—transparent breakdowns available to supporters.

How We're Different

  • We compensate eco-earners for their time—environmental work is dignified work
  • We partner with municipalities and community organizations for targeted, local impact
  • We track outcomes and commit to public, transparent reporting
  • We operate lean, locally informed, and designed for responsible scale

How Participation Works

  • Cleanup events run 6–8 hours, typically on weekends
  • All materials and supplies are provided, including safety gear
  • Eco-earners are compensated $20 per hour to start, paid post-event within 2-3 days via Stripe
  • Completion of safety video and liability waiver release is required prior to participation
  • Signup, verification, and confirmation are required before assignment

Innovating the Future of Cleanup

In addition to boots-on-the-ground cleanup efforts, Eco Clean Guardians is investing in emerging cleanup technologies that allow waste to be removed more efficiently, responsibly, and at scale - particularly in areas where manual cleanup alone is not sufficient. This forward-looking approach ensures our impact grows alongside the evolving needs of the communities we serve.

All programs are designed with accountability, safety, and measurable outcomes at the core.

Emerging Cleanup Technology We Support

WasteShark aquadrone

WasteShark

A surface-level aquadrone designed to collect floating debris from waterways. Its advanced sensors and AI help it safely navigate around boats, walls, floating objects, and wildlife—making waterway cleanup smarter and safer.

BeBot beach cleaner

BeBot

We support innovative cleanup solutions like the BeBot, a solar-powered beach cleaning system designed to efficiently remove debris and microplastics from sand. We do not currently own or operate this equipment, but champion its impact and look forward to sandy opportunities for future collaboration.

ANJR

Through our (first of many!) partner affiliations with ANJR, Eco Clean Guardians is expanding clean, safe, and beautiful neighborhoods throughout New Jersey. By combining ANJR's community leadership with our paid Eco-Earner workforce, we turn local pride into visible environmental progress.
